FO Role Guide: Patient Service Workflow
1. Logging In:
Begin by logging into the system using the Registration user credentials.
2. Patient Registration:
Navigate to the Registration menu.
You will find two tabs: Doctor and Service. These represent two types of reservations or patient registrations. Patients booking doctor consultations appear under the Doctor tab, while those booking medical services appear under the Service tab.
Registration Tab: Displays patients who have arrived at the clinic and completed their check-in.
Reservation Tab: Lists patients who have made reservations. Reservations can either be made through the mobile app or manually added by clicking on Add Reservation.
3. Direct Patient Registration:
If patients haven't reserved via the mobile app and visit directly, register them by clicking Add Registration in the Registration tab:
Fill in patient details or search if they have visited before.
Choose the required examination type: doctor consultation or laboratory test.
Select the available doctor; if the doctor's examination quota isn't full, it will display "Doctor available".
4. Patient Check-in:
For mobile app reservations, patient data appears under the Reservation tab. When patients arrive:
They can self check-in using the mobile app by scanning a provided barcode. Successful check-ins move the patient data to the Registration tab and provide them a queue number on their app.
Alternatively, the registration staff can check them in manually.
5. After Check-in:
Data of patients booking doctor consultations automatically enter the Patient Queue menu. Those booking medical services go to the Payment menu and must complete their payment before entering the Patient Queue.
In Patient Queue, staff can call patients using the "call" button, which updates the current queue number on the patient's mobile app and sends patient data to the doctor or lab personnel.
6. Pharmacy and Medications:
The Pharmacy Queue displays patient data once doctors finish examinations and prescribe medication. Here, patients can pick up their prescribed medicines based on available stock. Simply select the patient's name, then select the medications they need, subsequently sending their data to the Payment page.
7. Handling Payments:
In the Payment menu, search for the patient's name. Their payment details will display upon selection. Press "Add Payment" to process the transaction, choose the payment method, and then hit "print" to generate a payment receipt.
8. Reviewing Results:
Navigate to Review Results → General Patients to see a list of patients who underwent laboratory or other examinations. If results are ready, staff can view them on this page. For mobile app users, results can be sent directly to their app from this page.
