Doctor Role Guide
1. Setting up Doctor's Schedule:
Login: Start by logging in using the Doctor role credentials.
Profile Management: On the top right, next to the profile icon, find options for "Edit Profile" and "View Schedule".
Schedule Configuration: Within "Edit Profile", navigate to the "Schedule Settings" tab. Here, the doctor can set up their schedule by:
Selecting days of the week.
Setting a patient limit for each selected day.
Adding practice hours for those days.
Note: Patients using the MedQCare mobile app can only book according to the doctor's set schedule. If the patient count exceeds the set limit for a day, mobile users won't be able to make a reservation.
2. Doctor's Examination Flow:
Login: Begin by logging into the system as a Doctor.
Patient Queue in Sidebar: The left sidebar will display two patient lists:
The bottom list represents patients in the queue. Doctors can press the "call" button to call in the next patient. This action moves the patient's data to the top list. (The "call" button is also available for registration users, allowing for automatic movement of patient data to the top list).
The top list denotes patients currently under examination. Clicking on a patient's name here opens the examination page.
Examination Page: Here, the doctor can enter patient assessments.
Several input forms are available, including those for vital signs, exams, SOAP, and notes. A "Show History" feature is available for these forms, which will display previous examination results if the patient had visited before.
All input fields are optional.
The "Order" form has three tabs: Laboratory, Radiology, and Medication. Here, doctors can:
Refer patients for radiological or laboratory examinations if needed.
Select medications with appropriate dosages and labels.
"Print Medical Certificate": If a patient requires a sick note.
"Print Referral": If a patient needs a referral to another clinic or hospital.
"Attachments": If registration personnel have uploaded supporting documents, they will be displayed here.
"Medical Resume": Doctors can review a patient's medical summary from other clinics using MedQCare.
Data Sharing: All data input in the vital signs, exam, order, medical certificate, and referral pages (if any) are transmitted to the MedQCare mobile app.
Finalizing the Examination: After completing all input forms, doctors can click the "done" button to finalize the examination status.
